NEWS

Boys from our Coaching Camps were invited to make up a team to tour the North East, Highlands country last week. They successfully won 3 of their 4 games and had a great tour despite the heat.  see photo of boys about to leave on day 1.

The previous week, a team from Scotts College, Wellington, NZ played a Young Explorers Team to narrowly take out the game. We thoroughly enjoyed having our guests and hope the rest of their tour was successful.

Local products available are Carrick Cherry Jam and Sauce from Flowerdale, Misty Springs Jams from Murrindindi, Murrinstone Olive Oil from Yea, beautiful Est soap products  and others.

Casual visitors are most welcome. $5 gains access to the pavilion.

If you wish to enjoy lunch with the cricketers please ring 57849344 or email don@humeandhovell.com.au

11/30/1999 - Bush Fire Report

The Hume and Hovell Cricket Ground has only suffered damage to one shed (completely burnt down) paddocks burnt, no livestock lost, fences burnt. We are extremely lucky as the fire has licked around every other building and even ran under the picket fence at Bay 13 for about 4 feet then stopped. So it is business as usual although the fields are black around us.
